I cannot recommend this highly enough.
I'd come across one or two of Abigail's videos in the past and thought two things:
- I really must watch some more, and
- Wow. Young, frighteningly smart, funny, and wears clothes extremely well. That's a very trans-y vibe, but it's really none of my business, so I'll not pry.
(I know what you're thinking. Every community has it's outliers, so somebody has to be old, dim, dry, and dowdy, and yes, I drew the short straw.)
But I was searching for something the other day and PhilosophyTube popped up in the results. It sounded vaguely familiar, and I remembered "Oh, yes. Abigail. She's good." Then I saw the title for this, and put it in my queue, thinking it was bound to be interesting.
Reader, I wept buckets.
I concede that I also always cry at the bit in Yellow Submarine that goes "And our friends were all on board…". But I contend that if you don't want to live with all your friends in a yellow submarine to such a degree that the very thought of it moves you to tears, you have no soul.
Honestly, if I was twice as smart and a hundred times as well-read, and also a super-productive creative genius, this is the explainer video I would have made. Watch it, laugh, cry, be smarter and more human.
